Your World Today

Two interesting pieces of news that caught my eye today I thought I’d write about. Usually they’d slip by my blogging sphere, but the mix of some quite powerful drugs and boredom has led me to post.

First, Apple’s beautiful new Mac Book Pro was released. This is their first system to be built with an Intel chip, and they reckon that it’ll be four times more powerful than the old Powerbook G4. An interesting hypothesis. I guess we’ll wait and see what happens when it begins to ship them in February. One thing’s for sure: it’s one hell of a white beast.

Next is some news that belongs squarely in the ‘only in Israel’ file. With Israelis glued to their televisions, crime on the streets has halved nationwide. I guess it’s a shame that this is what it takes to get Israelis to calm down, breathe, and stop what they’re doing, but I guess the impossible happened. With Sharon getting better, albeit slowly, I guess the next question is, how long will it take before Israeli bandits hit the streets once more? I suspect not too long.

Why not heckling the doctors?Since you are bored out of your skull. It does break up the monotony.I did it for a couple of days when I was in for a complete hysterectomy.Had a woman doctor keeping tabs on me.I found out today.Went to the docs for my acne.
Hang in there you will have this thing licked yet.Having some people that I know to say tehillim for you.
    Take care,
